Q: WHY MUST LÆSK BE KEPT COLD?

A: TO ENSURE AS MANY OF THE GOOD BACTERIA AS POSSIBLE REMAIN IN OUR KOMBUCHA, WE DO NOT PASTEURIZE OUR PRODUCT. THAT MEANS THAT THE FERMENTATION AND NATURAL CARBONATION WILL CONTINUE IN THE BOTTLE IF KEPT AT ROOM TEMPERATURE.

 

Q: CAN I BUY LÆSK ON YOUR WEBSITE OR IN YOUR SHOP?

A: UNFORTUNATELY NOT. WE DO NOT SELL ONLINE AND WE CANNOT SELL DIRECTLY TO YOU FROM THE BREWERY. WE HAVE A BUNCH OF GREAT PEOPLE WHO SELL LÆSK SO THAT WE CAN FOCUS ON WHAT WE ARE BEST AT; BREWING. LOCATE ONE IN YOUR AREA HERE

Q: THE LÆSK I JUST DRANK TASTED DIFFERENT THAN THE LAST ONE I HAD. WHY IS THAT?

A: LÆSK KOMBUCHA IS A RAW AND UNPASTEURIZED PRODUCT. THOUGH OUR PRODUCTION IS CONSISTENT AND STABLE, FERMENTATION IS A GAME OF TIME, TEMPERATURE AND MICRO ORGANISMS. KOMBUCHA IS A LIVING PRODUCT AND THERE CAN BE MINOR CHANGES IN THE FLAVOR. THIS GOES FOR THE AMOUNT OF BUBBLES TOO.

 

Q: IS THERE ANY ALCOHOL IN KOMBUCHA?

A: THE YEAST TRANSFORMS SOME OF THE SUGAR INTO ALCOHOL. THE ALCOHOL IS THEN TRANSFORMED INTO ORGANIC ACIDS. THERE MAY BE TRACES OF ALCOHOL FROM THE FERMENTATION, LIKE YOU CAN FIND TRACES OF ALCOHOL IN NATURAL FRUIT JUICE. OURS HAS BEEN TESTED TO HAVE 0,3 % VOL. AND IS CONSIDERED NON-ALCOHOLIC.
